I'm Angry
Liatening to: Malice Mizer: Speed Of Desperate
Mood:
The first question that comes to mind is why? What did the children and their families have to do with this? Why do they have to pay for a conflict that has been going on for centuries? The only thing they are guilty of is of being Russians. Ah but me being sickened and angry about this whole thing doesn't stop there. After reading the news I naturally wanted to know other people's reactions to this. I cheked a news message board and to my surprise (and disgust) people were flaming eachother about their political beliefs. Things like "It's Bush's fault" and "This is going to make Kerry loose the elections" flooded the board about Russia's big tragedy. Instead of feeling sympathetic, sad or even moved they made it all about themselves. Now can someone tell me what a conflict that has been going since the nineteenth century has to do with American politics? People in Russia right now couldn't care less who wins, they just suffered a painful lost.
Maybe if people stopped being so goddamn self-centered this wouldn't have happened. Maybe if people actually cared about what happens to others not only within their country but also outside of it things would be better. Ah, nevermind I just got upset again. I'll better go do something else.
