My Brain's Misbehaving
Listening to: David Bowie: I'm Afraid Of Americans
Mood:
I was told the VMAs were rather boring this year, nothing special happened. Is this true? No one kissed someone else or appeared half-naked or flashed anyone? Where is this world going to if you can't count on MTV to bring you a new scandal in their awards ceremony? Not like I tend to watch them anyway but it's fun to see people over reacting and forming a huge scandal.
Things changed after Janet Jackson's Boobgate and I don't really get it. When it comes to censorship if you get fed up of it you can just check around the internet for a bit and you'll find more exposed breasts than you can count. Another thing I don't get is this new anti-condom pro-abstinence thing going on. People are not going to stop having sex just because. I think it's actually easier to convince people to use condoms than to stop having sex but that's just me. "Say NO to sex and YES to pottery".... I think I'm developing a pottery fetish here. Come on, no one remembers Ghost? Anyway just lets say, anyone here ever heard of E!'s Wild On? Ever seen it? If you have seen it do you obviously see all those people not having sex? "Oh no Sir, we're just getting naked and rubbing against each other while yelling obscenities but we aint gonna have sex no Sir!" Damn I just sounded like a prude. Sorry, I'm tired and not processing everything as I should. I guess my point is people like sex too damn much in order to stop because all of the sudden they're being told they have to. Come on, there are guys out there that just underwent a surgery and even when their doctor told them not to have sex they go fooling around and end up screwing themselves up and you expect for a pamphlet to stop them when not even their own health can? Think of that, I'm gonna go lay down.
