When I was younger and obviously VERY naive I had in mind to save myself for marriage. What on earth would have possessed me to have such thoughts you might think? At least you might think so if you know me well or have been reading me long enough. Well you see contrary of what it may seem sometimes, many, many times, latin society is very traditional still. So that whole saving yourself for marriage is a pretty thought although you see it less and less every day you still get to see it more than you think but less than it's said. So I used to think that saving yourself for marriage was a.... help me pick a word here that doesn't sound too strange lets see sweet, fun, natural, neat.. yes neat. I used to think that saving yourself for marriage was a neat thing to do.

What happened then? What made me change my mind besides that awful accident that I've talked about before? I fell in love and I fell in love with the wrong guy. Same story, different names I guess you could say. That's what you risk doing if you date older guys (lets say ten years older) but nowadays it's more or less the same thing if you date a guy your own age anyhow.

I'm not a religious person and anyhow I'm an eclectic pagan so my religion was never in the way. I'm a very open minded person so that wasn't it either and I don't care about what people say so nope that didn't make me think about virginity. Is the fact that for many men, even nowadays, what counts in a woman is their virginity. I've seen more than one guy succumb to the charms of a virgin. Why? I'm actually not sure I mean if you think of it chances are she isn't good in bed. I mean just think about her inexperience and she wont be able to do many things as well as someone that has a bit of experience. She doesn't know all her tastes when it comes to her sexuality and as far as shaping and molding her up, it doesn't tend to really work in the long run. Maybe it's insecurity, a virgin can't exactly know how things are. Plus the pleasure of the hunt seems so much more exiting in virgin grounds. I say now that arriving virgin to marriage is a mistake for the sole fact that you never know... maybe you don't like the way your virgin bride or groom is in bed. Just remember to use protection.

PS. IF you are a virgin make sure to make you loosing your virginity is worth a while, remember it's still your body and it's as sacred as you want it to be. Love is usually the best way to go... damn I sound like such a cliché.
