As you grow older, your tastes change. With some people is very obvious how they evolve and with others is almost as if they staid stuck in their past. Most go on though and there start being changes here and there. In the case of music for example I've met people that loved Michael Jackson up until age ten and then went completely death metal in under a year. Still, there's one thing that I've noticed, you usually keep that old music group that you loved at some point. I have to admit that I still like Aerosmith. My taste in music has changed quite a lot since first I started listening to them but I can't help myself.

There I was today, in a music shop and I found Rasputina and H.I.M. and a dvd of the best of David Bowie that had me almost melting with anticipation. All was nice and good since I only wanted one record though I was debating for a while between these selections but then lo and behold there it was. The curse fell upon me and I was immediately drawn to "Honkin' On Bobo" the new Aerosmith blues record. I could've hung in there and stick to David Bowie but besides Aerosmith I have a weakness for blues ever since I was a kid. I blame that on my parents who sometimes late at night would put on music during weekends. I remember a lot of different styles but one of the two that struck me the most was blues.

I couldn't help it, I swear... it was stronger than me. You know what makes it worse? I'm listening to it right now and loving every minute of it. It's blues!!! It's Aerosmith!!! It had a mini harmonica/keychain that I've been playing with for quite a while just to pick on my dog!!! I feel like a little kid in a huge candy store and I just got the biggest candy on the store!!! Sure I want all the other flavors but I still have a goddamn huge candy... and it includes a mini-harmonica!!! Ok, I'm sorry. I'm going until I come back to my old self... I think.
